Monique Engemann

Monique has always had a passion for working with dogs and horses. She started riding competitively at the age of 13. After spending much time with the horse industry, she decided she wanted to try something new. In 2011, Monique decided to transition from horses and joined the dog performance world.   

Monique started her first agility class with her 6 Month Old, Siberian Husky, Sierra. Now, almost seven years later, Sierra has been trained in Agility, Barn Hunt, Nosework, and Rally Obedience. She has competed in many venues including AKC, ASCA, CPE, UKI, USDAA, and UKC. Sierra also competed at the 2014 & 2016 CPE Nationals. Sierra has earned many titles and continues to compete heavily in agility and barn hunt. After five Barn Hunt trials, Sierra is the second Siberian Husky in Barn Hunt history to earn her Masters, RATCH, and RATCHX titles.

In 2013, Monique and her husband, Paul, decided to take dog performance one step further and bring home a beautiful, blue tri, Australian Shepherd (Sylvie). Sylvie has  excelled in Barn Hunt. Paul and Sylvie have excelled in Barn Hunt earning multiple RATCHXs. 

In 2014, Monique decided that one Aussie is never enough, and she took a deeper step into the world of Australian Shepherds with a fabulous black tri named Liadrin. Lia has quickly excelled in Agility, Barn Hunt, and Nosework. After only 7 months of training, Lia earned her RATS. Lia earned her RATCH in 2017. 

Sierra, Sylvie, and Liadrin all qualified and participated in the 2016 Barn Hunt Nationals at Purina Farm. Sylvie placed 20th overall in the Grand National Event, and Liadrin earned the Grand National Bronze Medal and placed 4th in Versatility.
