Rachel Evers
Rachel began her professional life as a dancer and K-12 educator, and has been teaching workshops for children and adults since 1995. She made the leap to dog training in 2006, and found it a natural fit for her experience in dance, education, and psychology. Helping students to develop an awareness of themselves and their canine companions through movement and clear communication is an integral part of her coaching style, and Rachel credits the success of her own dogs in Agility, Rally, and Pet Assisted Therapy to the strong sense of teamwork she has developed with them through this approach.
Over the last decade, Rachel and her dogs have earned multiple USDAA, AKC, CPE, and UKI titles for their achievements in agility, and have celebrated podium finishes at both the regional and national level. Their national achievements include: USDAA Performance Biathlon Bronze Medalists at the Cynosport World Games (Kubby 2012, Happy Mac 2018), USDAA Title Mania East Dog of the Year in Snooker, Gamblers, Standard, and Veterans Versatility Champion (Chloe 2018), as well as UKI Agility International US Open Medalists in the National Championship Final (Chloe 2018-Bronze), Masters Series (Picasso 2018-Silver), Speedstakes (Picasso 2018-Silver, 2019-Bronze), and Biathlon (Picasso 2019-Silver).
